Oppo Fits 200MP Sensors Behind All Three Rear Cameras on Find X10 Pro Max
Oppo's €1799 Find X10 Pro Max puts 200MP sensors behind all three rear cameras and adds 8K/30p plus open-gate video, shipping now in select markets.

Processing notes
- Find X10 Pro Max ships with 200MP sensors on all three rear cameras, priced from €1799 in Germany
- Both phones default to 26MP output in good light and 12MP pixel-binned files in low light
- Pro Max records 8K/30p on all rear cameras plus open-gate 4096 x 3072 at up to 60p
- Batteries rated up to 8000mAh with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging
- Optimized Blackmagic Camera app with O-Log2 and open-gate support arrives in November
Oppo has fitted 200MP sensors behind all three rear cameras of its new Find X10 Pro Max, a configuration the company calls an industry first. The phone arrives in select markets now at €1799 in Germany, roughly $2020, with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Its sibling, the Find X10, starts at €1299 (roughly $1460) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The headline resolution figure needs unpacking. Sensor sizes differ across the three cameras, so the 200MP count describes pixel count, not chip size.
Find X10 Pro Max rear cameras
- Main: 200MP, Type 1/1.3 sensor (72mm²), F1.5, 24mm equivalent (1x)
- Ultrawide: 200MP, Type 1/1.56 (50mm²), F2.2, 13mm equivalent (0.5x)
- Periscope telephoto: 200MP, Type 1/1.56 (50mm²), F2.1, 70mm equivalent (3x)
Find X10 rear cameras
- Main: 200MP, Type 1/1.4 (63mm²), F1.6, 23mm equivalent
- Ultrawide: 50MP, Type 1/2.75 (20mm²), F2.0, 15mm equivalent
- Telephoto: 200MP, Type 1/1.56 (50mm²), F2.6, 65mm equivalent (2.8x)
The Pro Max ultrawide focuses as close as 4cm (1.6 inches); the telephoto closes to 10cm (3.9 inches). Both phones accept an optional Hasselblad teleconverter that adds 3.28x magnification to the telephoto camera.
How much resolution do users actually get?
The sensor count is not the output count. Oppo says both models prioritize 26MP output in sufficient light, from the ultrawide through 9.9x zoom, and switch automatically to 12MP pixel-binned images (pixels merged on-sensor to reduce noise) in low light. A Hasselblad Hi-Res Mode offers 50MP photos at five focal lengths when lighting permits. At the native focal lengths of the Pro Max cameras, Oppo says its Lumo Hyper Pixel Engine uses multi-frame fusion to produce full 200MP files.
Both phones run the updated Lumo True Image Engine, which Oppo frames as a processing correction rather than a new feature. The default Photo mode now borrows the global tone curve from the company's Hasselblad Master Mode as its tonal reference, an approach that means less aggressive local tone mapping. Oppo specifically cites backlit scenes, claiming the processing preserves shadow detail without lifting everything toward uniform brightness. The company also promises reduced sharpening and noise reduction to retain more natural textures.
What does the video specification change?
The Pro Max records 8K/30p across all three rear cameras and extends 4K/120p capture to the ultrawide. Its predecessor, the Find X9 Pro, topped out at 4K/120p. Dolby Vision recording returns, alongside ACES-compatible O-Log2, a log gamma profile for color-managed post-production workflows. The Find X10 supports 8K/30p and 4K/120p on its main and telephoto cameras, with the ultrawide limited to 4K/60p.
The Pro Max also introduces Oppo's first open-gate recording mode, capturing 4096 x 3072 footage at up to 60p on all three rear cameras. The taller 4:3 frame gives editors room to crop into horizontal and vertical deliverables from one file, though enhanced stabilization is unavailable in this mode. A dedicated Tilta Khronos Creator Kit adds a handle, 67mm filter adapter, teleconverter adapter and an active cooling fan for longer recording sessions. An optimized version of Blackmagic Camera, supporting Dolby Vision, O-Log2 and open-gate, is scheduled for November.
Beyond the cameras
The Pro Max pairs a 6.78-inch OLED display with MediaTek's 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro; the Find X10 uses a 6.59-inch panel and the 3nm Dimensity 9600M. Both displays offer adaptive refresh, up to 3600 nits peak brightness for HDR content, Dolby Vision support and up to 144Hz refresh in supported games. Batteries are rated at up to 8000mAh, varying by market, with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Both phones carry IP66, IP68 and IP69 dust- and water-resistance ratings.
For working shooters, the practical question is whether a three-camera 200MP stack with open-gate output at €1799 can replace a second body for hybrid assignments. Independent testing of the 26MP default pipeline and the O-Log2 workflow will answer that once review units reach testers.
